Primary Operational Objective:
If you enjoy working with your hands, spending your working day outdoors and enjoy hard work, this is the position for you! Maintenance Technicians form the core of Timberline Landscaping and works primarily outdoors. This position requires, but is not limited to; hard physical work, customer service, and time management. While Timberline strives to maintain a 40 hour work week, this job will occasionally require overtime and weekends. Seasonal snow removal may be an option/requirement depending on company needs.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Operates up to a 60” mower
• Operates a trimmer, edger, and back pack blower
• Identify/remove weeds and proper pruning of plants
• Pick up trash/debris
• Follows safety guidelines and use of PPE equipment
• Snow removal

Requirements:
• This job requires a uniform and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as well as adherence to all safety rules and policies
• Must be punctual, responsible and have a positive attitude
• Must be self-driven and reliable
• Must be able to interact with customers in a professional manner
• Must be able to read and understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds (require help for over 50 lbs.)
• This is an outdoor job with exposure to adverse weather conditions
• This job, at a minimum, requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, control of hand tools and small to medium sized machinery
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens is predominately found with Mow Crews assigned to city parks

Education: High school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent and relevant job experience
Salary: Hourly rate starts at $13.00-$15.00 / DOE
