Timberline Building Systems is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects. You will oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
An excellent Construction Project manager must be well-versed in all aspects of construction and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve profitable results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.
This role will support field operations and occasionally work on project sites but will primarily ensure that all phases of the project lifecycle are completed efficiently and of the highest quality through administration and management.

Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
schedule through multiple methods; such as GAANT, CPM, etc.
Negotiate contracts with external sub-contractors and vendors to reach profitable agreements
Manages and generates orders with external partnerships and suppliers, including purchase orders and change orders
Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
Manages inventory and engages solutions for shortages and project needs
Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
Work with construction Superintendent to plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met
Plan and initiate preconstruction meetings with subcontractors for scope reviews
Estimate projects with a keen sense of detail in regard to the overall profit of the company
Evaluate progress and prepare detailed weekly reports
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
Assists COO, Superintendent(s) and Designer in the evaluation of potential projects and in the preparation of bids, presentations, and proposals
Keeps in excellent communication with field personnel, particularly on-site project manager/superintendent
Oversees project finances; including budgeting, change-orders, and reconciliations
Effectively communicates with the customer during all phases of the project life cycle

Requirements
Proven Experience as a construction project manager
In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles
5+ years of relevant experience
Understanding of project management standards
Highly skilled at scheduling using charts, critical path, GANTT, etc.
Familiarity with quality, health and safety standards
Good knowledge of MS Office, MS Project and Sage 300
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Associates or Bachelors degree in applicable construction fields or expertise
Understanding of pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) systems
Understanding of blueprints, plans, and drawings applicable to PEMB structures
Must pass post-offer background check consisting of employment history, personal/professional references, criminal record, MVR, and drug screen (includes marijuana)
Valid Colorado Driver’s License with a safe driving record
Leadership, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills (including the handling of multiple priorities and deadlines)
Effective organizational skills that includes the ability to self-manage work and manage the work of others
Must be highly adaptable to the kinds of change that comes along with working in an entrepreneurial environment
Self-starting initiative to pursue improvements and projects without substantial supervision
A team player with leadership abilities

Job Summary
Location: Colorado Springs, CO (some travel required on per-job basis)

Salary: 50 – 80,000 DOE
